JAY HAS PLAYED GUITAR FOR 21 YEARS, WITH 11 OF THOSE BEING at a PROFESSIONAL LEVEL. HE STARTED TEACHING AT AGE 14, AND HAS WORKED AND LEARNED AT VARIOUS SCHOOLS ALL OVER RENFREWSHIRE.  HE HAS PERFORMED AT MANY PRESTIGIOUS VENUES ALL OVER EUROPE, AS WELL AS RUNNING ONE OF SCOTLANDS MOST SUCCESSFUL and award winning WEDDING & CORPORATE BANDS. JAY ABSOLUTELY LOVES TEACHING, AND TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN WATCHING STUDENTS START FROM THE VERY BASICS TO PROGRESSING ONTO A STAGE. "it'S ONE OF THE BEST FEELINGS IN THE WORLD"

Jack is a seasoned guitarist and passionate musician, known for his deep-rooted love for rock 'n' roll. Since playing his first gig at the age of 14 he has always had a huge interest in the live music scene, now being a highly experienced performer and player at the age of 23.

Inspired by legendary bands like Status Quo, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, and Guns N' Roses, his musical palette is rich and diverse, reflecting the raw energy and soul of rock & popular music.

In his role as a guitar and bass teacher at Fitzpatrick Academy of Music, Jack brings his wealth of experience and upbeat attitude to the classroom, inspiring students to explore and expand their musical talents.

Aidan got his start in music at a young age when he began learning saxophone at 8 years old.

he soon found his home as a bass player.

A true enthusiast of the instrument, he has played for many renowned function bands across Scotland and is currently on bass duties for The Rays. He is known for his accessible teaching style, emphasis on fun in the learning process.

When he’s not teaching or gigging,,He is also a freelance transcriber (produces sheet music for songs) in his spare time and creates the bass tabs for his own YouTube videos.

“I’ve always been drawn to the bass guitar part in songs. I love problem solving on the instrument as well as learning more about the role of bass/guitar that definitely comes out in my approach to playing and teaching. I promise it’s not boring!”

Joanne is a graduate of Musical Theatre and a seasoned performer playing many roles in musicals and pantomimes, favourites include, Frenchy in ‘Grease’, Lena Lamont in ‘Singing in the Rain’, Carmen Diaz in ‘Fame’ and the title role in ‘Cinderella’.  Joanne has performed in many Glasgow Theatres including The Kings Theatre, Pavillion Theatre and Theatre Royal and made her Edinburgh Fringe Debut in 2022. 

Joanne has had a passion for singing from a young age  and has sang in many concerts, bars and weddings around Scotland and came runner up in the Young Voice of Scotland Awards. 

With a wealth of knowledge in singing techniques and a love for helping others she is excited to be part of The Fitzpatrick Academy Team.

Robert Lang, a seasoned sessions musician with over 14 years of drumming expertise. Fresh off a tour of South Asia with rock legends Nazareth and a two-month stint touring with Shambolics which seen him play venues all over the UK and supporting The View.

Daniel has an eclectic background in music, with the first instrument he picked up BEING violin at age 10, before guitar at age 12. He is classically trained in violin having achieved a Merit in ABRSM Grade 8 at 17. he graduated from University of Glasgow with a Bachelor of Music (Hons) in 2020 with Composition comprising half of his overall GDa.  He was inspired to take up guitar after playing the Guitar Hero games and spent his teenage years learning how to play their soundtracks for real. Currently, he is the guitarist for 2013 X Factor STAR, Nicholas McDonald. one of Daniel’s greatest aims is to inspire confidence in young people through music. Instilling a sense of belief in themselves that they can achieve what they deem unachievable. To show them that with focus, dedication and passion, they can accomplish so much more than they think possible.

Aidan is a dynamic and accomplished drummer whose rhythmic prowess has captivated audiences and earned him widespread acclaim at the young age of 25. With a passion for music that began in his early childhood, Aidan has dedicated himself to honing his craft, pushing the boundaries of percussion, and delivering electrifying performances that leave a lasting impact.

a talented and passionate drum tutor whose dedication to teaching and sharing the joy of drumming has made him a respected figure in the music education community. Aidan has already established himself as an influential mentor, inspiring aspiring drummers of all ages to unlock their full potential and discover their own rhythmic voice. Recognizing the transformative impact music education had on his own life, Aidan realised his calling to share his knowledge and ignite a similar passion in others.

Meet Jonny, an experienced 27-year-old singing tutor from Glasgow, Scotland. With a passion for music and an extensive background in vocal coaching, Jonny is dedicated to helping aspiring singers take their skills to a whole new level. His teaching style is characterised by a healthy mix of patience, encouragement, and enthusiasm, promoting a positive learning environment for his students.

Jonny’s vast knowledge of vocal techniques allows him to customise each lesson to fit his student's unique needs. With his guidance, students can learn to build confidence, strengthen their voice, and improve their overall performance skills. Jonny’s charismatic personality and genuine joy for teaching music make him an exceptional tutor that any aspiring singer would be lucky to learn from.

ADAM IS A DEDICATED AND VERSATILE PIANO TEACHER WITH A RICH BACKGROUND IN MUSIC COMPOSITION & PERFORMANCE. HE HOLDS A BMUS (HONS) IN COMPOSITION FROM THE ROYAL CONSERVATOIRE OF SCOTLAND AND A MASTER OF FINE ARTS DEGREE IN MUSIC FOR MOTION PICTURES & CONTEMPORARY MEDIA FROM THE FILM SCORING ACADEMY OF EUROPE.

WITH OVER A DECADE OF PIANO PLAYING EXPERIENCE, ADAM HAS PERFORMED AT NUMEROUS WEDDINGS AND OTHER EVENTS. HIS COMPOSITIONS HAVE BEEN FEATURED IN AWARD-WINNING SHORT FILMS, THEATRE PRODUCTIONS, AND PODCASTS, DEMONSTRATING HIS ABILITY TO CREATE CAPTIVATING AND EMOTIVE MUSIC ACROSS VARIOUS MEDIUMS.

ADAM HAS A DEEP APPRECIATION FOR A WIDE RANGE OF MUSICAL STYLES, FROM CLASSICAL TO ROCK AND JAZZ, WHICH HE BRINGS INTO HIS TEACHING. HE IS AN ENTHUSIASTIC & PATIENT EDUCATOR, DEDICATED TO HELPING STUDENTS ACHIEVE THEIR PIANO GOALS. HIS APPROACH FOCUSES ON NURTURING PROGRESS WHILE ALLOWING STUDENTS TO EXPLORE AND PLAY MUSIC THAT INSPIRES THEM.

James is a professional musician who has enjoyed years of performing at live events. He is a talented bass and guitar player and is widely recognised for his technical skill and feel for the music. Acts he has performed with include Resurrection Stone Roses tribute and ABBA A RIVAL. He has an approachable and easy going personality which brings out the best in his students
